Mr. Zaborske also mentioned an app he helped create for trade shows and other similar events. It helps participants navigate through all the other businesses there and make good business connections, which I thought was a great idea. The place I am currently interning at is involved in a lot of trade shows and trade missions, so I plan on bringing the idea of using the app up to my boss this summer.
Some other information that I found useful was his talk about how to identify your proper audience and how to build relationships with sponsors. He stressed the importance of thanking and recognizing everyone, not just those who can do something for you, in everyday life, and that was probably the most meaningful part of his presentation.
